Managing Additional Fees

Accessing Additional Fees

  1. Click Admin in the main navigation
  2. Select Additional Fees

Common Additional Fees

Most practices include fees such as:

  • Facility/Operating Room Fee
  • Anesthesia Fee
  • Lab Work
  • Post-Operative Garments
  • Medical Clearance
  • Compression Garments
  • Surgical Bra

Adding a New Fee

  1. Click Add Fee
  2. Enter the details:
    • Name (required)
    • Code (optional)
    • Default Amount
    • Description (optional – for internal reference)
  3. Click Save

Allow Multiple Quantities

Some additional fees may need to be added more than once to a quote. For example, a patient might need multiple post-operative garments.

To enable quantity selection for a fee:

  1. Navigate to Admin → Additional Fees
  2. Click on the fee you want to edit (or create a new one)
  3. Toggle Allow Multiple to ON
  4. Click Save

When this option is enabled, users will see a quantity selector when adding this fee to a quote. The total is calculated automatically based on the quantity selected. A quantity indicator will appear next to the fee in the quote review step.

Editing Fees

Click on any fee to edit its details. Price changes are tracked in price history.

Fees in Quotes

When creating a quote, you can:

  • Add any combination of additional fees
  • Adjust the amount for specific quotes
  • Apply discounts to individual fees

Tips for Organizing Fees

  • Use clear, patient-friendly names
  • Keep descriptions consistent
  • Review fees quarterly to ensure pricing is current
