Unit-Based Pricing for Injectables

Injectables like Botox and dermal fillers are typically priced per unit, syringe, or vial rather than a flat fee. MySurgeryQuote supports all three pricing models.

Setting Up Unit-Based Pricing

  1. Go to Admin → Procedures
  2. Click Add Procedure or edit an existing injectable
  3. In the Unit Type dropdown, select:
    • Units – For neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin)
    • Syringes – For most dermal fillers (Juvederm, Restylane)
    • Vials – For products sold by vial (Sculptra, Kybella)
  4. Set the Price as the per-unit cost (e.g., $13 per unit for Botox)
  5. Save the procedure

Using Unit-Based Pricing in Quotes

When adding a unit-based procedure to a quote:

  1. Select the procedure from the list
  2. Enter the quantity (e.g., 50 units)
  3. The system automatically calculates: 50 units × $13 = $650
  4. Add optional notes (e.g., “Forehead and crow’s feet”)

On the Patient Quote

The PDF shows:

  • Procedure name
  • Quantity and unit type (e.g., “50 units”)
  • Calculated total price
