Managing Multiple Facilities

If your practice operates out of more than one surgical facility, you can manage each facility separately in MySurgeryQuote. This allows you to select the correct facility when creating quotes and configure separate EMR location IDs for billing.

Adding a Facility

  1. Navigate to Admin → Fee Settings
  2. Scroll to the Facilities section
  3. Click Add Facility
  4. Enter the facility name
  5. If you use ModMed, enter the EMR Location ID for this facility (this ensures billing charges are sent to the correct ModMed location)
  6. Click Save

Editing a Facility

Click on any facility to update its name or EMR Location ID. Changes take effect immediately.

Setting a Default Facility

The first facility you add will be used as the default. When creating a quote, you can select a different facility if needed.

How Facilities Appear on Quotes

When your practice has more than one facility, the facility name will be displayed on the quote and PDF automatically. If you only have one facility, the facility name is not shown.

Billed Separately Option

For facility fees and anesthesia fees, you can mark them as “Billed Separately.” This is useful when the facility or anesthesia provider bills the patient directly rather than through your practice.

When billed separately:

  • The fee will show on the quote as “Billed Separately”
  • You can enter an estimated amount so the patient has a rough idea of the cost
  • The estimated amount appears on the PDF for patient reference but is not included in the quote total
